On Sabbatical

No, I am not taking a year off from blogging, but I am taking a few weeks off to pursue some web-free writing and complete a project that will keep me busy for the next month.

You'll hear from me again in mid-May. Stay tuned.

Write now: about steps you take to clear the decks for urgent projects. Write about steps you can take to ensure time to write the stories on your list. Write about how you deal with distractions in general.

Great idea to clear the decks for important projects, but--Rats! I will miss you! Hurry Back!

I don't blame you for taking a sabbatical. I am currently reading and doing a book report for SCN on a book called "The Mindful Woman", in hopes that it will teach me how to stay focused on one thing at a time and not be so easily distracted. I'll let you know how that works out!

Becky, I've always considered myself an organized person. It was to insure that I accomplished projects in a timely manner. Once I started something my motto was..."Nothing new until I'm through" I realized if I got stuck, a lot of time might be wasted until I could start up again. I adopted the high school format. I could work several projects in their own time slots; like changing classes. Stuck on one? Move to another. That way something was always getting accomplished. I was still focused on one thing at a time--in a manner of speaking. One other thing, just because Sharon isn't here doesn't mean we can't carry on amongst ourselves. :-) I'll bet she's checking in here anyway.
